Privacy Policy
Last updated 2 September 2026
Trade2Tech Private Limited (“Trade2Tech”, “we”) provides software that commodity brokers, traders and manufacturers use to record their contracts and settle them. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do not do with it.
What we collect
Your sign-in details. We use Google Sign-In. From it we receive the email address, name and profile picture on the Google account you sign in with. We never see or store your Google password.
What your company enters. The business records you create in the product: contracts, counterparties, commodities, delivery plans, deliveries, quality results, invoices, payments, and any documents or logos you upload. This is your firm’s commercial data. We treat it as yours.
An activity log. Every change is recorded with the email address of the user who made it, what changed and when. Your administrator can read this; it exists so a firm can answer “who altered this contract”.
We do not collect payment card details. We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to anyone.
Why we hold it
To run the service: to show you your records, produce your contract slips and invoices, decide what each user is allowed to see, and keep the audit trail your firm relies on. We also use it to support you when you report a problem, and to keep the service secure.
Separation between firms
Each firm’s records are stored separately, and access rules are enforced by the database rather than only by the application. One firm cannot read another firm’s contracts, parties or invoices. This matters in a trade where the firms using the same software may compete with each other.
Where it is stored
Data is held on Google Cloud infrastructure in the asia-south1 region (Mumbai, India). Uploaded files such as logos and signatures are held in Google Cloud Storage. Sign-in is handled by Google Identity Platform.
Who we share it with
Nobody, except the infrastructure providers needed to run the service — principally Google Cloud and Firebase, as our hosting, database and authentication provider. We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not use it to train models.
We may disclose data if the law requires it, and will tell you unless we are legally barred from doing so.
How long we keep it
For as long as your firm has an account. Records are deactivated rather than deleted while the account is live, because a historical contract must keep resolving. If you close your account, ask us and we will export your data and then delete it, other than anything we are legally required to retain.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for a copy in a portable format, or ask for deletion. Write to info@trade2tech.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Access to the product is invitation only. Your firm’s administrator decides who can sign in and what they can see; ask them to remove your access and we will act on their instruction.
Cookies
We set one cookie, named __session, to keep you signed in. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Clearing it signs you out.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, for anything material, tell account administrators by email before it takes effect.
